Dear America,

As we celebrate the monumental milestone of your 250th birthday, I find myself looking at you through the eyes of a survivor. I’ve spent years fighting for my life and that fight has changed how I see our future.

As Americans, we have to start speaking up, not for a party, not for a donor, but for the Next Generation. We owe it to our children, and God willing, our grandchildren and great-grandchildren to stop repeating the mistakes of the past.

We are done paying for the “sins” of things that happened hundreds of years ago, events far beyond our control and, for many of us, even beyond the control of our ancestors. We cannot build a future if we are constantly anchored to the shadows of a past we didn’t create.

Even at 250 years old, America, you are still in your infancy compared to the great civilizations that came before us. History tells us that when a system stops serving its people, a revolution is inevitable. I’m not talking about a revolution of violence, but a revolution of the mind.

We are done with the labels:

• No more Democrats vs. Republicans.
• No more Left vs. Right.
• No more Libs vs. MAGA.

That division is a cage. It’s time to start supporting leaders who actually help your family and secure the future of this land. We must demand a leadership that puts America First, one that closes the door on foreign interests influencing our laws, buying up our land, and steering our politics.

If you want to understand where we are, stop watching the nightly news and start reading about the major shifts in human history that happened before America was even a thought:

• The Roman Revolution (509 BC): When the people decided they were done with kings and created a Republic based on the rule of law.
• The Athenian Revolution (508 BC): Where regular citizens rose up against tyranny to demand the first foundations of democracy.
• The Ministry of Jesus (~30 AD): The revolution of the soul that introduced the radical idea that every individual has inherent, God-given worth, and that we are all equal in the eyes of the Creator.
• The Magna Carta (1215): When fed-up barons forced a king to admit that even he was not above the law—the very seed of our own Bill of Rights.
• The Peasants’ Revolt (1381): When hardworking people finally stood up against crushing taxes and a system that treated them like property.

History is a cycle. We are at a turning point where we must decide: do we continue to let the donor class divide us, or do we realize we are better together?

I pray that on America’s 250th birthday, we can finally come together as a country. Not because we agree on everything, but because we agree on one thing: America’s best days must be ahead of us, not behind us.
