I spent 35 years being told what to think. I’m spending the rest of my life teaching my children how to think.

As a Master Educator and a 2x Cancer survivor, I’ve seen how the “establishment” views our children. To the donor class, our kids are just data points and future consumers. But to a Midwest Millennial Mama, they are our legacy—the ones who will inherit this land we call home.
We are the first generation of parents raising kids in a 24/7 digital feedback loop. Between the screens, the scripts, and the donor-class influence in our schools, the “playbook” is everywhere. Protecting our kids’ future means more than just keeping them safe; it means making them propaganda-proof.
In this section of the website, I’m opening up my playbook for raising a sovereign Next Gen.
We’re going deep on:
- Sovereign Screen Time: My signature movie lessons (like The Wizard of Oz and The Hunger Games) where we teach our kids to decode the “script behind the script” and spot the man behind the curtain.
- Digital Sovereignty: My raw journey through the big milestones—like the “first cell phone.” We don’t just hand over technology; we dissect the algorithms and the scripts behind the apps.
- Heartland Education: Moving beyond the classroom to teach the skills the system ignores—from critical thinking to food sovereignty and understanding the value of our land and water.
I’m not a perfect mom, but I am a survivor who knows how precious a clear mind is. I’m raising three kids to be the leaders the Heartland needs. Un-bought, un-bossed, and equipped with a lens that actually works. 👁️
If you could teach your kids just ONE skill that the current system is ignoring, what would it be? Whether it’s food sovereignty, media literacy, or critical thinking—I want to know what’s top of mind in your household. 🌽🤱
